Our Exclusive Evaluator Service!

The Evaluator Service is an optional feature that can save League Managers a great deal of time, numerous phone calls, and many headaches!  Individual team owners submit free agent and/or waiver selections using the Internet. The computer system will keep track of all the claims and award free agent and waiver players based on your league rules.

Standard Evaluator Service Features:

  • Award players based on FAAB bidding
  • Award players based on reverse order of the standings
  • Distinguish between players on waivers and unconditional free agents
  • Set a maximum number of players awarded
  • Award players Weekly, Daily or anywhere in between

Award players based on FAAB bidding - FAAB stands for Free Agent Acquisition Budget. With FAAB, each rotisserie team owner starts the season with a certain budget that he can use to bid on free agents and/or waiver players throughout the season. Evaluator Service keeps track of the FAAB bids and awards each player to the highest bidding team. will maintain each team's FAAB budget subtracting the bid amount each time a team wins a bid and prevent teams from bidding more than their current remaining budget.

Award players based on reverse order of the standings - With "Lowest In The Standings", free agent and waiver players are awarded based on reverse order of the league's standings. Evaluator Service keeps track of the claims and awards each player to the lowest ranked team that enters a claim team. There are two options when using "Lowest In The Standings":

  • Lowest team gets as many players as it requests - The Evaluator Service will begin with the lowest ranked team and award it all of its players before moving on to the 2nd lowest ranked team.  The Evaluator Service will then award the 2nd lowest ranked team all of its players before moving on to the 3rd lowest ranked team, etc.
  • Lowest team gets one player, then 2nd lowest team, etc. (Rounds) - The Evaluator Service will begin with the lowest ranked team and award it one player before moving on to the 2nd lowest ranked team.   The Evaluator Service will then award the 2nd lowest ranked team one player before moving on to the 3rd lowest ranked team, etc.  Once the entire league receives one player, the Evaluator Service loops back to the last place team and starts over again.  We call this method "rounds" because it functions similar to a free agent draft that is conducted in rounds.

What's the difference between waivers and free agents?
A player can be placed on waivers when he is dropped from a fantasy team. That is the only way a player can be placed on waivers. He remains on waivers for one week.  If he is not claimed by that time he becomes a free agent.  If your league plays by such a rule software will support waivers and even move the unclaimed players to free agency automatically.   Leagues that use the waiver and free agent rule usually have different criteria for claiming a waiver player versus an unconditional free agent.  Evaluator Service handles different criteria for each if your league plays by such rules. For example, you can have free agents awarded first come first served and award waiver players to the lowest team in the standings that puts a claim on him while he is on waivers.

Set a maximum number of players awarded each period - With Evaluator Service your league can specify a maximum number of players awarded to each team.  Evaluator Service once again distinguishes between waiver players and free agents therefore you may set different maximums for each type of pick-up.
